Training of SHGs
Transformative Livelihood Intervention Project
The Transformative Livelihood Intervention (TLI) Project is fundamentally a woman centric and a comprehensive programme for socio-economic uplift of marginalized women in Nagaland by establishing a network of self-reliant women self help groups (SHGs).
TLI Project has adopted the following strategies:

Micro enterprise development

And networking of the SHGs.
Corpus Fund to SHG
A corpus fund of Rs. 25,000 is loaned to each SHG at the end of one year of intensive training to enable SHG to take up some income generating activities. The seed money so recovered is further re-loaned to deserving SHGs.
Presently, an amount of Rs. 3.12 crore as revolving loan is in circulation amongst the SHG through the federation, and the recovery rate of the corpus loan stands at 100%. The credit for its successful recovery is not only because of effective management team of the project, but it has been monitored and managed by their TLI Society and TLI Village Unit members. The project has covered more than 223 villages, approx.17, 010 households, with the formation of 1257 SHGs, 29 TLI Divisional Societies out of which 11 Societies have obtained their registration under Home Department, Government of Nagaland.
The project in its livelihood support interventions measures provides various trainings. One such remarkable intervention is, imparting training on processing and production of locally available fruits & vegetables to the SHG members, which resulted in the formation of a production company popularly known as “ which is managed by Naga women. Some of the MYKI popular items are, dried wild apple, goose berry, popped rice, turmeric, Naga king chilli, ginger powder, anishi, osmo dehydrated pine apple etc.
Market linkages outside the State are being surveyed and tie-ups with reliable up-linkages are being negotiated.
