Department of Women Resource Development

The Department has been actively engaged in its primary responsibility of addressing the issue of empowerment of women in Nagaland through its programmes of socio-economic uplift and strengthening the processes that promote all round development of women by coordinating and converging various schemes and programmes of the Department. More importantly, the Department is committed to the cause of mainstreaming and balancing the still existing gender divide and ultimately translating into reality the goals of empowerment of women.
